Asociaţia de Psihoterapii Cognitive şi Comportamentale din România (APCCR) este cea mai veche şi cea mai reprezentativă asociaţie de profil din România, membră a European Association of Behavioral (EABCT) and Cognitive Therapy şi Centru de formare şi reprezentant al Albert Ellis Institute şi Academy of Cognitive Therapy (SUA) (vezi www.psychotherapy.ro). APCCR promovează psihodiagnosticul şi intervenţiile psihologice validate ştiinţific pentru promovarea sănătăţii şi tratamentul tulburărilor psihice la copii, adolescenţi, adulţi şi vârsta a treia. Ca membru al EABCT, APCCR include şi reprezintă toate strategiile moderne de terapii cognitive si comportamentale (ex. behavior therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, cognitive-behavioral modifications, cognitive therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, dialectic behavior therapy, metacognitive therapy, schema therapy, multimodal therapy, appraisal therapy, constructivist cognitive therapy, problem solving therapy, cognitive-affective behavior therapy, reality choice therapy etc.).
